About

Paper to Pixels.
Bedside to Boardrooms.

Small firm. Strategic reach.

I didn’t leave medicine.
I just found a bigger exam room.

I started as a practicing Med-Peds physician — board certified in both Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. Then somewhere along the way I got pulled sideways into an EHR workflow that wasn’t working the way it should. So I fixed it. Then another. And another.

“I didn’t leave medicine. I just found a bigger exam room — one where the patient is the entire health system, and the treatment plan is strategic transformation.”

I built the VP of EHR Transformation & Optimization role at Sutter Health — a $12B system — from scratch. Created the title. Wrote the job description. Hired for it. It took conviction and clarity about what health systems actually needed at the intersection of clinical practice and technology. That work set the foundation for everything we do at Calyx Partners today.

Epic named me Physician of the Year in 2013. I’ve served as interim CMIO at NYC Health + Hospitals, Guthrie Clinic, and KeyCare. We’ve coached CMIOs at every stage — from newly-titled physicians finding their footing to experienced leaders ready to accelerate their impact.
